"A New Era for Investor Protection, Stability & Pension Reform"

The Association of Life Insurance, Pension, and Investment Fund Companies (SH.SJ.P.FI) is organizing the First Regional Conference, “Private Pensions in Focus”, on June 15, 2023. The primary objective is to address the urgent need for change and improvement in the current private pension market, focusing on revising the draft law, and raising awareness about the importance of private pension funds at a regional economic and social level.

At this conference, we will share best practices from the region and Europe, including collaborations with interest groups to implement necessary improvements.

The conference will feature representatives from Albania and international guests:

AMF, MFE, ISSH, Chairman of the Economic Commission, Mr. Eduard Shalsi, chairpersons of parliamentary committees, CEOs of Pension Funds

Representatives from MAPAS, World Bank, Austrian FMA/AMF, BQK Kosovo, CONSOB (AMF) Italy, European Delegation in Albania, IMF, IBRD, OECD, IOPS, EIOPA, Slovenian AMF

Representatives from the private pension business sectors in Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Serbia

Representatives from chambers and associations.

The objective of the Association is to support the development and contribute to the sustainable growth of Life Insurance, Private Pensions, Investment Funds, and related activities, building strong relationships with key financial market actors in Albania.

The Association’s purpose is to raise awareness of Life Insurance, Pensions, and Investment Funds and related activities; conduct research, and offer professional and educational support to interested parties. It also aims to disseminate information about the activities of the life insurance, pension, and investment fund markets.

"The Association of Life Insurers, Private Pensions, and Investment Funds" is expected to have a significant impact on the market, providing more dignified representation for these interest groups in the Albanian market.

Mission

Our mission is to represent the interests of our members, our members' clients, all investors, pension fund members, and life insurance policyholders.

We work to ensure optimal frameworks for private investors and institutional investors, and to provide easy access to professional management of their investments.

Vision

Our vision is to provide the most innovative and effective services through the association, which will support and improve the pension fund industry, investment funds, and life insurance companies in our efforts to offer the primary investment and life insurance tools for Albanians.

Our association is non-profit, meaning we do not generate income. The products we offer are: Life Insurance / Private Pension Fund / Investment Fund.
